WHAT IS A CSA?

CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. Basically, a CSA customer pays the farmer in advance for a “share” of fresh produce and/or eggs that are grown, harvested, and made available for regular pick ups through out the growing season. It gives our supporters an opportunity to know their food, who grows it, how its grown, and to build a community around eating good local and nutritious food along with directly supporting the farmer growing the food from seed to harvest. Being a CSA member means you are a part of our farm. Your support helps in allowing us to continue to sustainably grow and raise healthy organic food. As such, our members along with us share in the risks that can affect crops.  We utilize many all-natural strategies to minimize damage, however, farming can be an unpredictable endeavor. Whatever the circumstances we will always offer you the very best our farm has to offer.

WHAT IS OUR CSA BAG?

Our farm produce CSA bag is a ¼ bushel of organic seasonal produce, fresh herbs, and a recipe. Our CSA full season is 30 weeks long with 15 pick up dates.  With a subscription you will receive a share of the harvest on a set schedule.  The produce is seasonally grown and varies each week. A ¼ bushel is sufficient for two people and/or depending on how much you enjoy cooking; a larger family might consider an additional CSA share.

Additionally, we are offering an ADD ON EGG CSA.  Each pick up period you will receive 1 dozen Pasture Raised Free Range chicken eggs for an additional $82.50 to the cost of our FARM CSA. Our hens forage on lush pasture and supplemented with all natural Non-GMO-Soy free feed.
